Limerence, a term coined by psychologist Dorothy Tennov, refers to a state of intense emotional infatuation where a person becomes preoccupied with another individual. This state involves obsessive thoughts, a deep longing for reciprocation, and the idealization of the object of one’s affection. People experiencing limerence often project their desires and fantasies onto the other person, creating an idealized image that can lead to significant emotional highs and lows. The crux of limerence is the hope for mutual feelings, which can result in considerable anxiety and dependency when the reciprocation is uncertain or unfulfilled.
On the other hand, your twin flame is another incarnation of your very Soul. Everyone has heard of reincarnation. Reincarnation is not a concept either: it is an actual event all Souls experience. It is no more a “concept” than stubbing your toe is. Your twin flame is a simultaneous incarnation of your very soul, not a “concept.”
Your twin flame is also not a “counterpart.” The author is fully aware of the fact that this statement defies almost ALL of the information permeating the internet regarding twin flames today, but it wasn’t like this in days gone by. Before “Internet 2.0,” there were actually several decent teachers who instructed people (mostly) in accordance with The True Twin Flame Teachings. Those teachers are probably still active today, but even the author can’t seem to find them. The incessant noise of the pop-culture hysteria that has exploded around twin flames (since approximately 2016) has drown out the True Teachings that one could easily find in the days of Internet 1.0.
Sure, during the “bubble phase” (the first four to eight weeks after meeting your twin) you experience “limerence” (and this even tapers into the “dark night of the soul” for a while) but, as the axiom of the scientific method explains: correlation does not equal causation. THIS IS NOT A NORMAL BREAKUP. Most of the things that prove whether or not you have actually met a simultaneous incarnation (“twin flame”) occur after the initial breakup. The TWO BIG indicators that offer “smoking-gun” proof are: kundalini activation and the explosion of psychic abilities.
There is no other explanation that could be offered to “rationalize” these events.
You experience an Ego Death (a.k.a. “dark night of the soul”), followed by kundalini and then you become incredibly psychic?! NO WAY is this limerence. These things don’t “just happen” to people. How on Earth do you meet a (seemingly) romantic partner, only to be thrust into hell, followed by kundalini and BECOMING PSYCHIC?! There HAS to be something more going on here.
To the earlier statement about how your twin flame is not your counterpart: THERE IS NO SEPARATION with your twin flame (simultaneous incarnation). In order for you to be someone’s “counterpart,” there has to be at least two.
With a “counterpart” there is a “ME” and a “YOU.” YOU are MY counterpart. That makes “us.”
The Divine Truth of You and your simultaneous incarnation is that there is only ONE OF YOU. Thus, YOU ARE ALREADY NOT SEPARATE FROM YOUR TWIN FLAME.
You are a Soul.
You are not a “concept.”
You are not a “person.” You are not a “personality.” You are not a mental and emotional CONCEPT of self. You are beyond the conceptual mind. That’s the Soul. That’s Who You Really Are.
You and your “twin flame” are the same soul. Thus, there is no “counterpart,” there is ONLY YOU.
